![]() COURSE OBJECTIVES The objectives of this course: 1. to introduce students to the customs and trade practice, rules and principles of law within the international business environment. 2. to develop students conceptual and analytical thinking and skills in applying law through series of case study, group project, and discussion of international business issues. 3. to demonstrate how firms doing business between countries of the world are governed and regulated. 4. to develop students’ awareness in various business issues related to customs and trade practice, rules as well as principles of law in international business. | IntroductionThis is a core course offered by the Bahagian Pendidikan Tinggi, MARA. No prerequisite in International Business Law is required to pursue this course. However, students should have a good command of both written and spoken English. Course SynopsisThis course is designed to introduce students to the rules, customs and trade practice regulating the international business transactions. It overviews a wide range of business law, philosophies and principles from the perspectives of exporter and importer. Throughout the module, cases, materials, international conventions, and exhibits will be used to illustrate the law of international business transactions as practice. Each chapter concludes with a series of questions that highlight the major topics of the chapter. ![]() |
